Getting a Self-Insight from the Two Mindsets

First thing to be kept in mind about the people with each of the mindsets may it be a fixed mindset or a growth mindset, their mindset highlights how they behave. That means, your mindset determines how you behave in your life. Your decisions, actions and reactions, everything is directly related to how you "think" that is, what your mindset is.

When we take a look at the people with a growth mindset, we see that thet don't exactly think of themselves as born superheroes or born talented people. The people with a growth mindset try new things and some things they feel they are not good at. It is definitely true that they are not exactly sure whether they'll do amazing or not, but the fact is that, they try.

While it is clear that humans greatly misestimate their ability and performance, it was proven through a survey that people with a "fixed" mindset tend to be greatly inaccurate while those with a growth mindset are amazingly accurate.

Since people with a growth mindset believe that they can learn new things and develop themselves, they are more open for more accurate information. That is, they are more oriented towards learning and developing. But people with a fixed mindset seemingly think that everything is permanent and cannot be developed.

People with a growth mindset have the talent of recognizing their own strengths and weaknesses which, is something that people with fixed mindset don't have. People with a growth mindset know and understand their own self very well, unlike the people with a fixed mindset. Therefore, it is clear that a growth mindset is one of the best keys to success and a more effective lifestyle.
